Our Team
Matt Peters
President & Owner
Matt has extensive experience in the sports and travel industry spread across event management, playing, and officiating. He is the founder of Nickel City Hockey, a youth hockey event company, which has developed into a trusted and innovative brand in the hockey space.
After partnering with several travel agencies for his business, Matt felt there was a disconnect between the needs of event organizers and housing management. This lead to the founding of TD Travel in 2023, with the idea of providing a turnkey service built by Event Operators for Event Operators.
Nick Peters
Operations Director
Nick joined TD Travel in 2023, bringing an abundance of management and operational skills. He gained tremendous experience at Augusta National Golf Club working in operations and sales for the world's most renowned golf event, The Masters Tournament.
In 2022 Nick joined his brother at Nickel City Hockey, serving as a key cog in the rapid growth of the youth hockey tournament company. Due to his experiences with group hotel management and specific technology needs, he was brought in to guide the workflow of TD Travel.
